Teachers plan protest on Sept. 5

BERHAMPUR: Orissa Shikhyak Mahasangh has decided to celebrate teachers’ day as black day by wearing black badges demanding better facility for teachers in the State.

On September 1, college and school teachers, including the shikhyakarmis, would stage dharna in every block of the State.

Each member of the mahasangh would also send a post card to the Chief Minister, describing the problems regarding education in their area.
