Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has notified rules to provide single point time-bound clearances required for establishing industrial undertakings in the State. While stating this here on Saturday, a spokesman of Haryana Industries and Commerce Department said that these rules would be known as Haryana Industrial Promotion Rules, 2007. He said that the State Government has also constituted a High Powered Clearance Committee headed by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister to receive composite application forms for grant of clearances for setting up of industrial units with proposed investment of Rs. 30 crore and above. The other members of the committee included six Principal Secretaries of Excise and Taxation, Power, Town and Country Planning, Industries, Labour and Environment. The Director Industries and Commerce would be the Member Secretary. He said that the High Powered Clearance Committee would meet at least once a month. The Committee would be the final authority in granting clearances and these would be binding on all concerned authorities who would issue the required clearances to the entrepreneur within three days of the receipt of orders of this committee, he said. – PTI.
