NBW against MCD clerk in land scam

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Saturday issued a non-bailable warrant against a clerk of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi who is one of the accused in the Molarband slum rehabilitation scam in which the alleged kingpin Ashok Malhotra is involved. The warrant is returnable by September 7.

Special Judge S. K. Kaushik issued the warrant against Atul Vashisth, an upper division clerk with the MCD’s Slum and JJ Department, following a plea by the CBI. CBI’s counsel told the court that the accused had been evading arrest.
