Black marketing of LPG and kerosene alleged

ADILABAD: Members of Adilabad Zilla Parishad standing committee on rural development on Saturday alleged black marketing in LPG cylinders and kerosene in the district. The Civil Supplies Department came in for severe criticism on this count with members taking to task the officials present. Members alleged that LPG cylinders were not being supplied to consumers. Instead, the cylinders were being sold in black market locally. They also alleged that the kerosene dealers were blaming faulty supply from depots for no stocks. In fact, kerosene was sold in black market to autos that consumed it as fuel.
