Alert sounded in Bangalore

BANGALORE: The city police have sounded a high alert in Bangalore following the twin blasts in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Bipin Gopal Krishna told The Hindu on Sunday that patrolling had been intensified and security tightened at vital installations, IT and BT companies, airport, railway stations, bus s
tations and in vulnerable areas in the city.
Mr. Gopal Krishna said that the police had been directed to screen all suspicious people and vehicles and look for any unattended or abandoned articles on roads and in public places.
