Pensioners support to strike

PUDUCHERRY: The Confederation of Central and State Government Pensioners Association in Puducherry has decided to extent support to the proposed strike called by the Central Government employees on October 30 seeking interim relief under the VI Pay Commission. The decision to this effect was taken at the association’s general body meeting held on Friday, a press release said.

The association has also criticised the Puducherry Government for not sending their case for interim relief to the Centre. — Staff Reporter
