‘Trough’ moves over

HYDERABAD: Heavy rains continued across the State for the third day on Sunday, with Alampur in Mahabunagar district recording a heavy fall of 12 cm. However, “a decrease in rainfall” on Monday has been forecast by the State Met Office. An official in the State Met Office said this would be due to the present “trough” moving over to interior Karnataka from the State. A number of other places in the State too recorded heavy rainfall on Sunday.
