Power supply to be affected

NEW DELHI: Power supply in certain areas of Lutyens’ Delhi will be affected on Monday because of a technical glitch at the New Delhi Municipal Council’s Badarpur power plant.

An NDMC spokesperson informed that a “tripped” transformer had resulted in a power deficit of 100 to 135 MW.

The NDMC has advised residents in these areas to limit their electricity consumption on Monday.
