Police put on alert

WARANGAL: Police personnel were put on alert following the Saturday’s bomb blasts in the State capital. All the inter-district borders were being manned and special police pickets were set up to check those leaving and entering the district since late last night. Counter intelligence personnel were deployed at all vital installations while State House Officers were directed to intensify the patrolling within the towns. Police in plainclothes were seen moving in the residential colonies.The personnel were also sent to scan the areas where the public gather usually like shopping centres, vegetable markets, railway stations and bus stations at Kazipet, Hanamkonda and Warangal towns.

At the TTD Kalyana Mandapam in Hanamkonda town where the Kalyanamasthu programme was held, special personnel were seen thoroughly checking entire premises before the commencement of programme.
