‘Government failed to check terrorist activities’

Staff Reporter

BJP calls for a bandh on Monday

KARIMNAGAR: BJP Karimnagar district unit leaders have burnt the effigy of terrorists near the RTC bus station complex on Sunday in protest against the twin-blasts in Hyderabad city.

BJP Kisan Morcha state president P. Sugunakar Rao, town president D. Sridhar and others participated in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, the BJP leaders condemned the terrorists’ brutal act of igniting bombs killing innocent people.

They flayed the State Government for failing to check the terrorist activities in spite of Central Intelligence warnings.

On the other hand, the BJP leaders have appealed to the people of Karimnagar district to observe bandh on Monday in protest against the terrorists act.

Mr. Sugunakar Rao urged the managements of educational institutions, private offices and others to participate in the bandh and condemn the terrorists act.
