Botsa has no connection with lands: panel chief

Special Correspondent

VISAKHAPATNAM: False allegations were being made by the CPI (M) against Housing Minister Botsa Satyanarayana that he had purchased a piece of land near Aganampudi through mediators, said District Agriculture Marketing Committee Chairman Gunturu Venkata Narasimha Murthy here on Monday.

A total extent of 13.18 acres of land falling under survey Nos. 158/1, 159/2, 160, 161/1 and 185 were sold by one Dakshina Murthy to two women from Guntur district during 2004 and 2005. This was part of a 53.84 extent of land given to Dakshina Murthy and three others, Mr. Narasimha Murthy said at a press conference. The Congress leader also demanded the TDP to also occupy the lands illegally owned by their own party leaders.
