110 Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Army is conducting a recruitment drive at the Police Recruit School Grounds on Avanashi Road on September 18. The recruitment would commence at 7.30 a.m. Candidates who are employed in civil or self-employed, ex-NCC cadets with good shooting skills, sportsmen and dependents of servicemen/ex-servicemen would be given preference. Personnel employed in civil concerns would have to bring a No Objection Certificate from the employer. The recruitment would be for Soldier Clerk, Soldier General Duty and Tradesmen categories. For qualifications and other physical fitness details, the candidates could approach the Territorial Army office at Red Fields in Coimbatore.
