Man drowned in Italian Embassy pool

NEW DELHI: The body of a 21-year-old man was found floating in the swimming pool inside the Italian Embassy premises here. The police suspect it to be a case of death by drowning.

The police received a call around 1 p.m. stating that Devender, who had been employed about three months ago to clean the swimming pool water, had been found dead in the pool.

According to the police, initial findings of post-mortem did not indicate any foul play. Devender was a resident of Uttam Nagar.
