‘Congress workers not for alliance with JD (S)’
Special Correspondent
Bangalore: The former Minister H.M. Revanna on Monday maintained that the State Congress workers and leaders were not interested in forging an alliance with the Janata Dal (S) again to form a coalition government in the State.
Addressing a press conference here, the Minister said the Congress High Command would take a decision on the issue.
To a question, Mr. Revanna said the restructuring of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee was likely to take place in 10 days. The restructuring exercise was delayed as the then AICC leader in-charge of Karnataka A.K. Antony has been appointed Defence Minister, he said.
