Dalits plan to take out rally

KOLAR: A State-level protest rally will be organised here on September 1 demanding reservation in jobs to Dalits of all religions in government and private sector. An end to the atrocities on Dalit Christians was another major demand, Karnataka Dalit Christ Federation convenor Y. Mariswamy said here on Tuesday. Union Minister K.H. Muniyappa, legislators G.V. Sriram Reddy and K.R. Rameshkumar are slated to address the rally. — Staff Correspondent
