Awareness meet on eye donation

Swetch Gora Eye Bank executive director G. Samaram said that only 12,000 people are donating eyes every year in India. More people should come forward to donate eyes and it would help give a new vision to the people, he said addressing an eye donation awareness meeting. A small country like Sri Lanka was supplying eyes to other countries, India was lagging far behind and it should pick up in this respect, he added.
