Creating awareness about blood disorders

The Haematology Foundation, a city-based NGO, marked its third foundation day by spreading awareness about the seriousness of blood disorders. The foundation looks after 700 patients suffering from blood-related disorders such as thalassemia and sickle cell disease. It has been giving guidance and partial financial support to patients for three years, K. Gayathri, secretary, told reporters.
