‘Employment opportunities for rural unemployed youth’

MAHABUBNAGAR: Participation of youth in rural development activities was essential said Minister for rural development G. Chinna Reddy.
Addressing the valedictory function of 12 days National services volunteers training programme here on Tuesday the Minister said that there are many employment opportunities to the rural unemployed youth.
Youth services
Chinna Reddy informed that in order to utilise the youth services properly the State has provided 50 thousand jobs to the unemployed youth during last year through rural development department and this year it was decided to provide jobs to some 1.5 lakh youth.
Apart from this the National youth services department also providing 8.5 lakh jobs, he said. The Minister also informed that the Government was establishing a foot and mouth diseases vaccine production centre in the district. Zilla Parishad chairperson K.Damodhara Reddy, Nehru Yuvak Kendra regional coordinator Vaidyanatha Rao and others spoke. Local MLA Puli Veeranna presided over the function.
