BANGALORE: Bangalore University will announce the merit list (omnibus list) on August 31 for admission to various postgraduate courses for the academic year 2007-08 in the departments concerned. Counselling will be held on September 3 for Environmental Science, Geography, Botany, Molecular Biology, Library and Information Science, History, Performing Arts, Commerce, Education, and on September 4 for Applied Genetics, Chemistry, Electronic Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Psychology, Rural Development, Kannada, Economics, Sanskrit, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu and Statistics. The counselling for Biochemistry, Physics, English and Sociology is scheduled for September 5, while the seat selection process for Sericulture, Life Science, Political Science and Computer Science will be on September 6. The counselling for Mathematics and Zoology will be on September 7, while the seat selection for Women Studies is scheduled for September 8. For Microbiology and Biotechnology, the seat selection will be from September 3 to 7. The counselling for courses offered by the University’s PG Centre in Kolar will be held on September 3 and 4.
