KOZHIKODE: ‘Vismaya Sandhya,’ a magic-cum-participatory show being organised by Magic World at Kandamkulam here till September 2, extends beyond the domain of pure magic, with opportunities for educational and intellectual input. The programme, held as part of the Onam celebrations, is meant to convey the spirit of egalitarianism and equality of the festival, says Pradeep Hudino, director of Magic World. “Vismaya Sandhya’ has been conceptualised with a view to entertaining the whole family. It extends beyond pure magic with items meant to entertain children of different age groups and adults too,” he says. The one-hour programme, held at 3.30 p.m., 4.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., features brain-teasers and is participatory in nature. The puzzle corner session, for instance, is envisaged with this end in view. Jigsaw puzzles entertain the young children.
