Malabar United FC, the latest professional football club from Kerala, was launched here on Wednesday. The team, promoted by the Kozhikode-based Malabar Football Academy, will start training, under coach P.K. Rajeev, here on Monday. Malabar United FC will be based here but will play in the Ernakukalm District league, from the next season. Selection trials
The trials to select the Thiruvananthapuram District senior and under-19 teams will be held on September 2 at the Medical College ground. Those interested in taking part in the trials should register their names at the KCA office between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. before August 31. Sony to lead
