HYDERABAD: An 18-year-old girl K. Residents of Allapur in Borabanda, the victim’s parents -- K. Venkanna and K. Suguna – were taking part in the land struggle at Kukatpally in the morning. Meanwhile, the Ranga Reddy district committee of the CPI(M) asked the Government to pay ex gratia of Rs. 5 lakh to the parents of K. Bhavani. The victim’s family, hailing from Khammam, came to city in search of a livelihood six years ago. It was sheer negligence of the MMTS train driver, said D.G. Narsimhalu, district committee secretary of the CPI(M). He said the party had announced Rs. 25,000 for Bhavani’s parents.
