Child run over by Blueline bus

NEW DELHI: A Class VI student of Khalsa School was run over by a Blueline bus on Deen Bandhu Gupta Road here on Wednesday. The driver fled from the spot. According to the police, the accident took place around 1 p.m. when the bus plying on route 355 -- from Anand Parbat to Noida – hit Manish, killing him on the spot. In another accident reported around 6-30 a.m., 43-year-old Om Prakash was killed after a tempo hit him near Ambedkar Stadium. A 40-year-old man, Zahid, fell from the footboard of a Blueline bus near Ambedkar Stadium in the morning and sustained serious injuries after the bus ran over his legs.
