BHUBANESWAR: Crime Branch of Orissa police on Thursday took three persons into custody for their alleged role in sending e-mail containing a threat-message to blow up State Assembly building. Three persons picked up by police belonged to Rourkela-based Mahavir Ferro Alloys Limited, which had a liaison office in Jaydev Vihar here. While Gourang Biswal, a clerk, and Sachidananda Lenka, the liaison officer of the company were traced from Bhubaneswar and General Manager Shyam Sundar Singh was rounded up in Rourkela on Thursday. For last three years, the liaison office was being run in a rented house where police found two personal computers and a laptop. The crime branch said the e-mail was sent from one of these three computers. "Technically, scientifically and forensically, it has been proved that the e-mail was sent from these computers," Inspector General of Police (Crime Branch) Bijay Sharma told mediapersons.
