Water level

MADURAI: Water level in the Periyar dam stood at 121.10 feet (136 feet) with an inflow of 303 cusecs and a discharge of 1,570 cusecs.

The level in the Vaigai dam was 48.59 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 1,147 cusecs and a discharge of 691 cusecs.

The combined Periyar credit stood at 5,670 mcft.

Marudhanadi and Manjalar dam recorded 7 mm of rainfall each and Tekkadi 2 mm. — Staff Reporter
