HIGH EXPECTATIONS: A campus interview in progress at Dhanalaksmi Srinivasan Engineering College in Perambalur on Wednesday.
PERAMBALUR: A two-day special recruitment camp, sponsored by the Human Resource Development Centre of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College, was held here.
In all, 200 graduates from institutions, including Annamalai University, Angalamman College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchi, and Sona College of Technology, Salem, registered themselves for the interview.
While a couple of Chennai-based firms, M/s Sriram Value Services and Sutherland Global Service, selected 26 graduates, including eight girls, GE India Limited, Pondicherry, short-listed 42 candidates, according to principal S. Thayumanavan.
The centre’s training and placement officer V. Sekar, said those selected would be appointed as management trainees, technical executives etc. The appointment orders would be issued to them soon in Tiruchi.
