BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Minister for Public Relations, Mineral Resources and Culture, Laxmikant Sharma, said on Thursday that media persons should help in conveying to the masses the true picture when it came to implementation of the Government’s programmes and policies. The Minister was talking to media persons for the first time after getting the additional portfolio of Public Relations and his elevation to Cabinet rank. He said journalists play an important role in exposing the Government’s weaknesses and corruption. “By doing this, the media goes a long way in showing the correct path to those in Government and this helps in plugging loopholes and improving the system,” he added. The Minister said the new public relations policy of the State Government would be implemented soon.
