‘Inculcate scientific temper ’

KOLAR: Science teachers should shoulder the major responsibility of inculcating scientific temper among students, B.P. Venkatesh, Deputy Director of Department of Science Education Research and Training (DSERT) has said. He was inaugurating a State-level science seminar for high school students here on Thursday. Students should be enlightened on the role of science in the everyday life, Mr. Venkatesh said.
DSERT officer Padmaja Koujalagi made the introductory remarks. Deputy Director of Public Instruction, Kolar, C. Nagarajan, presided over the inaugural session. Students from various parts of the State presented papers on ‘Global warming and its impact.’
