Protest for issue of ration cards

KOLAR: Scores of CPI (M) activists on Thursday held a demonstration in front of the taluk office here demanding ration cards for the poor.

They went in a procession from Rangamandira and staged the protest.

Addressing the gathering, party taluk committee secretary Gandhinagar Narayanswamy deplored the failure of the Government to provide ration cards to the weaker sections of society.
