Building violations: State granted time to file objections
Staff Reporter
Bangalore: A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Cyriac Joseph and Justice Rammohan Reddy on Thursday granted time to the State Government to file objections on a public interest litigation citing violations of the building bylaws by high-rise constructions coming up in Mangalore.
The petitioners said several buildings were coming up in violation of fire safety and building norms.
The Division Bench directed the State to file its objections and adjourned further hearing on the case to September 6.
