MADURAI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has tied up with AXIS Bank for online payment of fee for the December term examinations.
The form will be available on www.ignou.ac.in from September 1 to October 20, says a release from K. Panneerselvam, Regional Director of the IGNOU Sub-Regional Centre here. The students can submit the forms online and make payment through credit card/debit card from September 1.
The fee can also be paid in cash at any of the branches of AXIS Bank (formerly UTI Bank) after the forms are submitted online. Students could also draw a demand draft from any of the branches and submit the forms online with the particulars of demand draft mentioned. After October 20, payment can be made through bank draft up to November 28, along with forms, at the regional centres of the university.
The new examination forms can be collected from the regional or study centres. Students who appeared for the June 2007 examinations can get their answer scripts re-valuted on payment of Rs.300 a paper.
The application for revaluation will be available on the IGNOU website from September 1, and at the regional and study centres.
