KLC to expand operations

CHENNAI: Knowledge Learning Corporation (KLC), a U.S.-based education and childcare company, is planning to scale up operations in India. John Hnanicek, Executive Vice-President and Chief Information Officer, KLC, told a press conference here on Wednesday that the company would invest $5 million into Indian operations through 2008 and employ 100 more persons in Chennai. The company would soon launch its new software product, ‘COS,’ which would be developed in Chennai, he said.
