Three arrested for eve-teasing

NEW DELHI: Three persons, including two minors, were arrested following a scuffle between two families over eve-teasing at Khajoori Khas here on Thursday. According to the police, a 14-year-old girl was returning home from school in the afternoon when two boys belonging to a minority community allegedly passed some lewd remarks at her. When the girl raised an alarm, some passers-by gathered at the spot and called up the Police Control Room. The police arrested the boys. Later the boys’ uncle, a scrap dealer, reached the victim’s house accompanied by some people and allegedly beat up the family members. He was also arrested by the police later.
