Central team to study feasibility of dam in Pampa

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Union Ministry of Water Resources will send an expert team to Aranmula to conduct a feasibility study on the proposed rubber dam in the racecourse of the annual snake boat regatta in the Pampa, T.K.A. Nair, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, has said.

Talking to The Hindu, Mr. Nair said the Kerala Government had submitted a project report on the proposed rubber dam to the Centre. The State also submitted another project report to the Centre for setting up a unique cultural herita ge village complex in Aranmula.
