Southern Railway Institute scores win

CHENNAI: Southern Railway Institute (SRI) beat AGs Office by two wickets in a second division cricket league match recently.

The scores: II div: AG Office RC 209 for eight in 44 overs (K. Mancharan 87 not out, N.P. Balaji 77) lost to Southern Railway Institute 212 for eight in 43.3 overs (P. Hariraj 78).

V ‘A’: Indian Airlines SC 222 for eight in 34 overs (M.K. Shiva Kumar 104, Amal Ezra four for 40) bt Gandhi Nagar Starlet CC 109 for eight in 34 overs.

V ‘D’: Sir MCTM Old Boys SA 135 in 40.5 overs (Vijaya Bhaskar five for 45) lost to PUC 137 for two in 28.1 overs (Vivek 76 not out).
