TOUCH OF THE BRUSH: A piece of painter Peter Solymosi’s work.
NEW DELHI: The Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre here has organised an exhibition of paintings by Peter Solymosi titled “The Gods of Fire Rule.”
The exhibition opens this Tuesday and will continue till September 18. The paintings, crafted on location in Himachal Pradesh and Varanasi, capture spectacular landscapes and cityscapes, eternalising the age-old beauty of these timeless lands.
The painter’s third exhibition at this venue will provide viewers a chance to experience the profundity of India’s spiritual heartlands through the medium of art.
Solymosi arrived in India from New York five years ago to study the anatomy of mountain chains and the sea. His paintings are marked by an intense attachment to line and light and are layered with a subtle allegory in that each painting has a story to tell.
