Relief for victims

Thiruvananthapuram: An assistance of Rs.1 lakh each has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the families of Georgekutty and Sudharkaran who died reportedly due to excessive consumption of liquor at Avaneeswaram on August 28. An assistance of Rs.1000 each has been given to the 16 persons who are undergoing treatment. —Special Correspondent
