Patna: Bihar Chief Secretary Ashok Kumar Chaudhary has been given an extension of three months in service. A notification in this regard was issued by the State’s personnel and administrative reforms department on Thursday evening, official sources said. The Union Personnel Ministry had on August 27 approved a three-month extension for Mr. Chaudhary, who was due to retire today (Friday), though the State Government had sent a proposal for extending his service by six months.
