Panel visit to Virudhunagar

VIRUDHUNAGAR: The Assembly Petitions Committee, headed by the Oddanchatram MLA, R. Chakrapani, will visit Virudhunagar on September 3.

In a statement, the Collector, V. Chandrasekaran, said that the committee would review the action taken by the district administration on petitions submitted by the people.

Besides, it would also review the compliance by the district administration on recommendations made by the committee during its previous visit here in August last year.

The panel, comprising the Srivilliputtur MLA, T. Ramasamy, will meet at the Collectorate at 2.30 p.m. on Monday.
