Chief Minister visits ailing poet

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Friday called on ailing veteran Hindi poet Trilochan Shastri at his residence at Vaishali in Ghaziabad. She enquired about the health of Mr. Shastri, who is 90 years old and has lost his memory, and presented him with a Tulsi sapling and a shawl.

The Chief Minister assured the family of the poet, who was awarded Shalaka Samman of the Hindi Academy in 1989-90, that the Delhi Government and the Hindi Academy would arrange for his medical treatment.
