LDF decision unanimous: CPI

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary Veliyam Bhargavan has said that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) State committee decision that Public Works Minister T.U. Kuruvilla must step down in the light of the allegations connected with a land deal was unanimous. In a statement here on Friday, Mr. Bhargavan termed baseless reports appearing in a section of the media to the effect that his party had taken the position that Mr. Kuruvilla need not resign. — Special Correspondent
