Chief Minister’s remarks resented
BANGALORE: The Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress Committee has taken umbrage at Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy’s reported remarks against Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar and the former Chief Minister N. Dharam Singh.
In a statement, Youth Congress president Sadanand V. Danganavar said Mr. Kumaraswamy seemed to be unaware that the many years dedicated service to the development of their constituencies was the reason why the two leaders have been getting re-elected. The Youth Congress would launch an agitation to protest against the remarks attributed to the Chief Minister, who is also reported to have used “inappropriate language” against Mr. Shivakumar, the statement said. — Staff Reporter
