Protest against nuclear deal

NEW DELHI: The Democratic Youth Federation of India will hold nationwide protests on September 8 against the India-U.S. civilian nuclear deal and the proposed joint naval exercise of Japan, Australia and the U.S. with the Indian Navy in the Bay of Bengal.

The Federation’s Central Executive Committee has called upon all its units to mobilise the youth to protest against the Government move to “join the US game plan of expanding its strategic alliance”.
