Thrissur: Thrissur Fast Track Sessions Court judge P. K. Haneefa on Friday sentenced Mangalathu Veettil Navaz, 28, for murdering Orumanayur Muthammavu Pillarikkal Ramachandran, 48; his mother Karthyayani, 85; wife Latha, 39; and daughter Chitra, 10, on November 4, 2004. Navaz, a driver with Ramachandran’s family, harassed Latha. Navaz killed her and members of her family when she refused to yield to his wishes. Special Public Prosecutor A. Sureshan appeared for the prosecution.
