CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government on Friday appointed Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary (Revenue and Disaster Management) Promila Issar as the new Chief Secretary in place of Prem Prashant, who retired earlier in the day. She is the second woman to be appointed as Chief Secretary. The first was Meenaxi Anand Chaudhary.
