Loyola CA in final

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Loyola Cricket Academy and Kids CC entered the finals of the Celestial Teens under-17 cricket tournament here here on Friday.

Loyola CA scored a comprehensive 105-run win over Masters CC while rain forced the match between Kids CC and Murugan CC to be abandoned. Loyola CC topped pool ‘A’ with two wins to enter the final while Kids CC qualified as the top team from pool ‘B’.

The scores: Loyola CC 158 for three in 23 overs (Jithin 85, R.S. Renjith 40 no) bt Masters CC 53 for seven in 23 overs ( Jithin Krishna four for 24).— Principal Correspondent
