Ixia opens R&D centre in Bangalore

BANGALORE: Ixia, a U.S.-based provider of IT network testing solutions, has opened its R&D and customer support centre in Bangalore. Ixia’s Executive Vice-President-Operations, Sam Bass, told reporters here on Wednesday that “We now have 130 engineers in India and plan to expand our presence in the Asia-Pacific. India has evolved to provide 30 per cent of our total R&D activities, besides substantially growing as a market”.
