Balrampur Chini buys stake in Indo Gulf Ind

KOLKATA: Balrampur Chini Mills on Friday said it had acquired 53.96 per cent stake in Indo Gulf Industries after the settlement of shares under dispute representing six per cent of Indo Gulf Industries. In 2006, Kolkata-based Saraogis of Balrampur Chini Mills picked up a 27.54 per cent stake in New Delhi-based Indo Gulf Industries, belonging to the S. K. Garg group.
