CHENNAI: D.G. Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) on Friday to groom students in accordance with industrial needs.
College principal S. Narasimhan, and director (human resources) of CTS Sriram V. Rajagopal signed the MoU in a function organised on the college premises. Mr. Rajagopal said a series of guest lectures on the recent trends in the industry would be organised.
To prepare students for campus interviews, a training programme on communication skills, ‘Evolve’, was also organised by the CTS as part of the event. The joint secretaries of the college Gopal Agarwal and Bharat Kumar K. Shah participated.
