HYDERABAD: Labour Minister G. Vinod on Friday called for increasing awareness on safety through a proactive approach.
He was inaugurating a workshop on ‘Occupational health and safety’ for the Safety Committee members of the Ranga Reddy Region of the Factories Department, organised in coordination with the National Safety Council, AP centre. The Minister released a booklet in Telugu on ‘Industrial safety and health –role of safety committee members’.
Addressing the gathering, R. Koteswara Rao, Director of Factories and chairman of the council, advised the participants to take steps for making the committee more effective.
